Haley campaign outraised Trump campaign in Georgia


Before ending her campaign, Nikki Haley (R) had raised the most money from Georgia of all presidential candidates, taking in $2.6 million since the start of the campaign cycle. 

Haley raised $906,182 in February. Donald Trump (R) has raised the next most from Georgia, with $2.4 million since the start of the campaign and $239,765 in February.

Twenty-four notable presidential candidates, including those who have dropped out, raised a total of $7.8 million from Georgia donors between Jan. 1, 2023, and Feb. 29, 2024. Thirty-five notable candidates raised $31.3 million in Georgia during the 2020 election cycle, while 25 raised $17.2 million during the 2016 election cycle. 

Below is how much each presidential candidate has raised so far from Georgia in the 2023-2024 election cycle:

Looking at the top two fundraisers in February — Haley and Trump:

  • 2,948 individual donations were made to Haley’s campaign in February.
  • Of those 2,948, the largest share, 927 (31%), was between $25 and $49.
  • 8,157 individual donations were made to Trump’s campaign in February. 
  • Of those 8,157, the largest share, 3,796 (47%), was under $5. 

Biden has raised 15% of the money donated in Georgia this election cycle. He received 49.5% of the vote in 2020. Trump has raised 30% of the money donated in Georgia this election cycle. He received 49.3% of the vote in 2020.
