Trump campaign has outraised Biden campaign in Pennsylvania


Donald Trump (R) has raised the most money from Pennsylvania of all presidential candidates, taking in $2.59 million since the start of the campaign cycle. 

Trump raised $233,118 in February. Joe Biden (D) has raised the next most from Pennsylvania, with $2.3 million since the start of the campaign and $403,973 in February. In February alone, Nikki Haley (R) raised more than both Trump and Biden with $669,213.

Twenty-four notable presidential candidates, including those who have dropped out, raised a total of $8.4 million from Pennsylvania donors between Jan. 1, 2023, and Feb. 29, 2024. Thirty-five notable candidates raised $47.6 million in Pennsylvania during the 2020 election cycle, while 25 raised $25 million during the 2016 election cycle. 

Below is how much each presidential candidate has raised so far from Pennsylvania in the 2023-2024 election cycle:

Looking at the top two fundraisers in February — Haley and Biden:

  • 2,797 individual donations were made to Haley’s campaign in February.
  • Of those 2,797, the largest share, 856 (31%), was between $25 and $49.
  • 3,045 individual donations were made to Biden’s campaign in February. 
  • Of those 3,045, the largest share, 1,069 (35%), was between $100 and $499. 

Biden has raised 27% of the money donated in Pennsylvania this election cycle. He received 50% of the vote in 2020. Trump has raised 31% of the money donated in Pennsylvania this election cycle. He received 49% of the vote in 2020.
