All candidates running in the March 3 election for Arkansas State Circuit Court District 4 Division 2—Seth Creed, Wendy Howerton, and Kristin Pawlik—completed Ballotpedia’s Candidate Connection survey. These survey responses allow voters to hear directly from candidates about what motivates them to run for office.
All survey respondents are asked to tell voters about their three key campaign messages. In Arkansas, all three candidates listed experience as one of the key points. Excerpts are shown below.
Creed:
“Seth has proven courtroom experience. He has tried numerous jury trials in both state and federal court, argued before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and routinely handles complex legal briefings.”
Howerton:
“I have practiced for 20 years in trial court right beside you on your worst days and your best days, representing real live people, not just entities or government. That perspective is invaluable.”
Pawlik:
“She knows the docket in Division 2 and is ready to get to work on day one. She will treat every person who enters the Courtroom with dignity, will apply the law as it is written and uphold the rule of law every single day.”
