Trump campaign has outraised Haley campaign in Wisconsin


Donald Trump (R) has raised the most money from Wisconsin of all presidential candidates, with $631,964 raised since the start of the campaign cycle. Trump raised $146,844 in the fourth quarter of 2023. Nikki Haley (R) has raised the next most from Wisconsin, with $508,509 since the start of the campaign and $246,244 in the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter alone, Joe Biden (D) raised more than Trump but less than Haley with $204,112.

Twenty-three notable presidential candidates, including those who have dropped out of the race, raised a total of $2.2 million from Wisconsin donors between Jan. 1, 2023, and Dec. 31, 2023. Thirty-five notable candidates raised $15.1 million in Wisconsin during the 2020 election cycle, while 25 raised $8.3 million during the 2016 election cycle.

Looking at the top two fundraisers in quarter four — Biden and Haley:

  • 1,450 donors in Wisconsin donated to Biden’s campaign last quarter.
  • Of those 1,450, the largest share, 488 (34%), donated between $100 and $499.
  • 2,175 donors in Wisconsin donated to Haley’s campaign last quarter. 
  • Of those 2,175, the largest share, 672 (31%), donated between $25 and $49.

Biden has raised 21% of the money donated in Wisconsin this election cycle. He received 49.5% of the vote in 2020. Trump has raised 29% of the money donated in Wisconsin this election cycle. He received 48.8% of the vote in 2020.
