All four candidates running in the March 5, 2024, Republican primary for Texas’ 29th Congressional District completed Ballotpedia’s Candidate Connection survey. These survey responses allow voters to hear directly from candidates about what motivates them to run for office. The candidates are Jose Casares (R), Angel Fierro (R), Christian Garcia (R), and Alan Garza (R).

Ant-Corruption and Transparency.”

Fierro:

“I passionate for the right to life, the fight against Human & child sex trafficking, American Energy policy, and our national border security.”

Garcia:

“Domestic security and tranquility, Immigration, foreign trade policy.”

Garza:

“I’m passionate about privacy. … I’m interested in crafting policies that protect our First and Fourth Amendment rights in the information age, while promoting the advancement of emerging technologies.”
