Trump campaign has outraised Haley campaign in Wisconsin


Donald Trump (R) has raised the most money from Wisconsin of all presidential candidates, taking in $704,092 since the start of the campaign cycle. 

Trump raised $72,128 in January. Nikki Haley (R) has raised the next most from Wisconsin, with $633,500 since the start of the campaign and $124,991 in January. In January alone, Joe Biden (R) raised more than Trump but less than Haley with $110,630.

Twenty-four notable presidential candidates, including those who have dropped out, raised a total of $2.55 million from Wisconsin donors between Jan. 1, 2023, and Jan. 31, 2024. Thirty-five notable candidates raised $15.15 million in Wisconsin during the 2020 election cycle, while 25 raised $8.27 million during the 2016 election cycle.

Looking at the top two fundraisers in January — Haley and Biden:

  • 1,283 donors in Wisconsin donated to Haley’s campaign in January.
  • Of those 1,283, the largest share, 428 (33%), donated between $25 and $49.
  • 881 donors in Wisconsin donated to Biden’s campaign in January. 
  • Of those 881, the largest share, 298 (34%), donated between $100 and $499. 

Biden has raised 23% of the money donated in Wisconsin this election cycle. He received 49.5% of the vote in 2020. Trump has raised 28% of the money donated in Wisconsin this election cycle. He received 48.8% of the vote in 2020.
