Haley campaign outraised Trump campaign in Wisconsin


Before ending her campaign, Nikki Haley (R) raised the most money from Wisconsin of all presidential candidates, taking in $973,323 since the start of the campaign cycle. 

Haley raised $339,823 in February. Donald Trump (R) has raised the next most from Wisconsin, with $810,523 since the start of the campaign and $106,431 in February. In February alone, Joe Biden (D) raised more than Trump but less than Haley with $166,666.

Twenty-four notable presidential candidates, including those who have dropped out, raised a total of $3.2 million from Wisconsin donors between Jan. 1, 2023, and Feb. 29, 2024. Thirty-five notable candidates raised $15.2 million in Wisconsin during the 2020 election cycle, while 25 raised $8.3 million during the 2016 election cycle.

Looking at the top two fundraisers in February — Haley and Biden:

  • 1,289 individual donations were made to Haley’s campaign in February.
  • Of those 1,289, the largest share, 406 (31%), was between $25 and $49.
  • 1,209 individual donations were made to Biden’s campaign in February. 
  • Of those 1,209, the largest share, 434 (36%), was between $100 and $499. 

Biden has raised 23% of the money donated in Wisconsin this election cycle. He received 50% of the vote in 2020. Trump has raised 25% of the money donated in Wisconsin this election cycle. He received 49% of the vote in 2020.
