All three candidates running in the at-large primary for Ramsey, Minn., City Council—Gareth Andersen, Kirsten Buscher, and Ebizimo Nagberi—completed Ballotpedia’s Candidate Connection survey. These survey responses allow voters to hear directly from candidates about what motivates them to run for office.
All survey respondents are asked to tell voters about their three key campaign messages. In Ramsey, all three candidates listed local economic development as one of those key points. Excerpts are shown below.
Andersen:
“I will prompt economic growth ad [sic] development in the city of Ramsey, in a fiscally responsible manner.”
Buscher:
“By promoting local businesses, attracting new investments, and protecting our green spaces, I am to build a balanced and sustainable community that thrives now and in the future.”
Nagberi:
“We can boost employment growth and fortify our economy by encouraging entrepreneurship and fostering an atmosphere that is beneficial to business.”
