As of March 23, 2025, President Donald Trump (R) has issued 98 executive orders so far in his second presidential term. This is the most executive orders issued by a president during the first 100 days of an administration since Franklin Delano Roosevelt (D), who issued 99 orders during that timeframe.

Recent orders issued by Trump include an order closing the Department of Education, an order seeking to increase U.S. mineral production, and orders increasing data sharing between federal agencies and consolidating procurement for federal agencies. So far in his second term, Trump has issued 27 orders related to foreign policy, 16 orders revoking a previous executive order, and 15 orders related to the administrative state. Among all U.S. presidents, Trump has issued the 15th-most executive orders with 318 orders across his two terms in office. Franklin D. Roosevelt (D) issued the most of all U.S. presidents with a total of 3,721 executive orders during his time in office. William Henry Harrison (Whig) issued the fewest, having issued none during his one month in office. Three presidents issued only one executive order each: James Madison (Democratic-Republican), James Monroe (Democratic-Republican), and John Adams (Federalist).
