President Donald Trump (R) ends June with 45% approval, 53% disapproval

At the end of June, approval polling averages showed President Donald Trump (R) at 45% approval. Fifty-three percent of voters disapproved of his performance. The lowest approval rating he’s received during his presidency is 44%, last seen on June 25, 2025. The highest approval rating Trump has received is 54%, last seen on Jan. 22, 2025.

At the end of June, congressional approval was at 37% and disapproval was at 52%. The lowest approval rating the 119th Congress has received is 19%, last seen on Jan. 29, 2025. The highest approval rating it has received is 37%, last seen on June 30, 2025.

At this time during Trump’s first term in office, presidential approval was five points lower at 40%, and congressional approval was twenty-two points lower at 15%. At this point during the Biden administration, presidential approval was eight points higher at 53%, and congressional approval was five points lower at 32%.
