The Commission on Presidential Debatesannounced on Wednesday it would change the format of the remaining debates. “The Commission on Presidential Debates sponsors televised debates for the benefit of the American electorate. Last night’s debate made clear that additional structure should be added to the format of the remaining debates to ensure a more orderly discussion of the issues,” the commission said in a statement.
Joe Bidenraised $3.8 million in one hour during Tuesday night’s debate, setting a single-hour fundraising record for ActBlue. He raised $10 million in total the night of the debate.
Donald Trump began airing an ad on Wednesday featuring Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett and calling on supporters to stand up for conservative values. The clip is part of an ad buy worth more than $10 million.
