Both candidates running in the March 3 Republican primary for Craighead County, Ark., Tax Collector—Jenny Ruth Crisler and Stephanie A. Hoffman—completed Ballotpedia’s Candidate Connection survey. These survey responses allow voters to hear directly from candidates about what motivates them to run for office.
All survey respondents are asked to tell voters about their three key campaign messages. In Craighead, both candidates listed transparency as one of those key points. Excerpts are shown below.
Crisler:
“I'll fight for fairness and transparency for every taxpayer. My goal is to make your tax experience clear, efficient, and respectful, because you deserve an office that works for you.”
Hoffman:
“Integrity you can trust: the Collector’s Office is built on integrity where taxpayers deserve complete honesty and transparency with every tax dollar.”
