General elections for all 150 districts in the Texas House of Representatives took place on Nov. 8, 2022. Of the 150 districts up for election in 2022, 96 had a general election with more than one candidate.
Across all contested general elections, candidates raised $51.2 million. Incumbents raised an average of $401,248 per candidate and challengers raised an average of $158,004 per candidate.

John Lujan won with 52 percent of the vote and Frank Ramirez received 48 percent of the vote.
#2 District 70 – $3,081,480
Jamee Jolly raised $2,470,224 and Mihaela Plesa raised $611,256.
Mihaela Plesa won with 51 percent of the vote and Jamee Jolly received 49 percent of the vote.
#3 District 108 – $1,981,187
Incumbent Morgan Meyer raised $1,554,780 and Elizabeth Ginsberg raised $426,407.
Morgan Meyer won with 57 percent of the vote and Elizabeth Ginsberg received 43 percent of the vote.
#4 District 37 – $1,648,488
Janie Lopez raised $1,377,781, Luis Villarreal Jr. raised $270,707, and Arnoldo Alonso raised $0.
Janie Lopez won with 52 percent of the vote, Luis Villarreal Jr. received 48 percent of the vote, and Arnoldo Alonso withdrew.
#5 District 121 – $1,557,317
Incumbent Steve Allison raised $1,199,105 and Becca DeFelice raised $358,212.
Steve Allison won with 55 percent of the vote and Becca DeFelice received 45 percent of the vote.
