The filing deadline for the Florida Democratic presidential primary passed on Nov. 30, 2023. One candidate, President Joe Biden (D) qualified to appear on the March 19, 2024, ballot. In order to qualify, candidates had to participate in the Florida Democratic Party’s nominating convention.
This is the sixth Democratic presidential filing deadline that has passed. Biden is the only candidate to have qualified to participate in five or more nominating contests. The next Democratic presidential primary filing deadline will take place on Dec. 5, 2023, in Tennessee.
