The filing deadline for the Texas Democratic presidential primary passed on Dec. 11, 2023. Eight candidates filed to appear on the March 5, 2024, ballot. In order to file, candidates had to either pay a $2,500 filing fee or submit a petition containing 5,000 signatures.
The following candidates filed:
- President Joe Biden
- Gabriel Cornejo
- Robert Star Locke
- Frankie Lozada
- Armando Perez-Serrato
- Dean Phillips
- Cenk Uygur
- Marianne Williamson

The next Democratic presidential primary filing deadline will take place on Dec. 14, 2023, in Virginia.
