All candidates for Ohio House of Representatives District 30 complete Ballotpedia’s Candidate Connection survey

Both of the candidates running in the Nov. 5, 2024, general election for Ohio House of Representatives District 30 — Stefanie Hawk (D) and Mike Odioso (R) — completed Ballotpedia’s Candidate Connection survey. These survey responses allow voters to hear directly from candidates about what motivates them to run for office.

Here are the candidates’ responses to the question: What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Hawk:

  • “Vote for Stefanie Hawk to change the status quo in Columbus. We need a representative that puts people over politics.
  • A vote for Hawk is a vote for workers rights and affordable healthcare.
  • Stefanie works to be an ally to all marginalized and vulnerable groups, and doesn’t back down to bullies.”

Odioso:

  • “Developmental Disability Services: Mike has committed himself to improving the lives of those in our community who experience these challenges. …
  • Education & Thriving Schools: … Mike knows that in order to create safe, clean, and prosperous communities, we must start with promoting academic excellence. …
  • A Strong & Vibrant West Side … we need to ensure that our neighborhoods are safe. Like many of you, Mike wants our community to have a vibrant economy, where people choose to live and do business.”
