Missouri’s Nov. 5, 2024, general election ballot will feature four presidential candidates and their running mates. They are:
- Kamala Harris / Tim Walz (D)
- Donald Trump / J.D. Vance (R)
- Jill Stein / Butch Ware (G)
- Chase Oliver / Mike ter Maat (L)
There is one fewer candidate on Missouri’s presidential ballot compared to 2020. In 2020, Missouri’s ballot had five candidates: Joe Biden (D), Trump, Jo Jorgensen (L), Howie Hawkins (G), and one other minor party candidate. Trump won Missouri that year with 56.8% of the vote, followed by Biden with 41.4%, Jorgensen with 1.4%, and Hawkins with 0.3%. No other candidate received more than 0.1% of the vote.
As of Oct. 25, The Cook Political Report, Inside Elections, and Sabato’s Crystal Ball all rated the state as solid Republican. Missouri was carried by the Republican presidential candidate in every election between 2000 and 2020.
Missouri has 10 electoral votes, tied with four other states for the 18th most electoral votes. Missouri neither gained nor lost electoral votes following the 2020 census.
